Equipment Fleet Overview
Tippers (6m³ - 20m³): Used for transporting materials such as soil, gravel, or debris from one location to another.
Front End Loaders (2m², 3m², 6m²): Utilized for loading and transporting materials on construction sites.
Amphibious Excavators (20 – 30 ton): Specifically designed for operations in aquatic environments, ideal for dredging and cleaning dams.
Excavators (15 – 50 ton): Versatile machines used for various excavation tasks, ranging from digging trenches to removing debris.
Dozers (155): Heavy-duty machines equipped with a large metal plate (blade) used to push soil, sand, and other materials.
Graders (140): Used for leveling and smoothing surfaces during road construction or grading tasks.
TLB’s (4x4 and 4x2): Tractor Loader Backhoes used for digging, loading, and backfilling operations.
Bobcats: Compact and agile machines used for a variety of tasks such as excavation, loading, and material handling.
Compactors: Equipment used to compress soil, gravel, or asphalt during road construction or compaction tasks.
B25 / B30 Dumpers: Dump trucks used for transporting bulk materials on construction sites.
Screens: Equipment used for separating materials based on size or composition, commonly used in screening operations.
Additionally, Imvubu Earthworks has recently acquired three Amphibious Excavators, including a 30-ton excavator, which is one of the largest in South Africa. These machines are particularly useful for cleaning and deepening dams. Currently, the company is involved in three projects where extra capacity is being created in dams. The excavators are equipped with dredging pumps to assist in dredging out slurry from the dams, enhancing their capacity and functionality.
